All cotton, so there is nothing to itch and nothing for moths. The all-over 2x2 rib gives it a vertical line and a bit of stretch; the body is relaxed and ends at the top of a high-waisted trouser.
Cotton knit is heavier than wool at the same warmth, so it drapes rather than holds out from the body.
